Presently, fewer than 12% of domestic violence shelters provide space for pets. Victims are often forced to stay in horrific abuse, or leave their pets behind to face torture or even death. Some victims report living in their cars for as long as four months while waiting for a spot in a shelter for themselves and their pet.

The Kindness Collective's first initiative seeks to make the world safer for domestic violence victims, and the animals who are dear to them. Your donation will help provide the necessary support and funding to permit domestic violence victims to seek safety with their pets. You can help us establish safe havens and ultimately change - and save - lives.
